How to Have Your Ex Begging to Take You Back


Relationships...Sometimes you have to wonder if they're worth it. All the pain and anguish and baggage that comes along with the person you just happen to be hooked up with. But then you think about the alternative, the loneliness and heartbreak of being alone, and relationships aren't so bad. As a happily married man of 24 plus years, I can honestly say I wouldn't want it any other way. Don't get me wrong, you're going to have your down times. And sometimes...your breakups. Well, if your ex has shown you the door, you might want to read this article. It could very well be the start of getting back together with the one you love.

I didn't get smart right away. I used to be a total idiot when it came to the opposite sex. My wife and I almost didn't make it. Heck, we almost didn't even get married at all. And if I'm honest with myself, it was pretty much all my fault. I was a total jackass. But I've learned a lot since then and my marriage couldn't be better. Why? Because I understand what it takes to make a relationship work and how to get the one you love to forgive you even when it seems like things are hopeless.

For starters, you need to communicate. And that starts with swallowing your pride. Oh yes, pride is the number one reason why people don't talk. They can't admit that they screwed up. Well, until you can do that, you're fighting a losing battle. So swallow your pride and have a heart to heart with your ex. Put all your cards out on the table. If this is the first time you've done this, your ex will have the most shocked look on his or her face.

The next key is to get your ex to see both sides. Once you open up, this is easier to do. See, when somebody makes the effort to say, "You're right, I screwed up", the natural reaction is for the other person to say, "Oh, it's not all your fault" and then they start listing all the things that they did wrong. And then all of a sudden, you're communicating. Trust me, I know. I've done this dance with my wife many times. But YOU have to make the first move.
